Approach a collaboration in a business-like manner and not as an obligatory collective
The dynamics and entrepreneurial drive within the horticultural sector ensure that every day provides me with exciting new challenges. Achieving a goal by working together, that is one of the strong points of the horticultural industry. Working together starts with creating clarity about your own as well as the shared ambitions and goals. Despite all our experience in this sector, we can still learn a great deal from other industries. My advice: take a business-like approach to collaboration, do not treat it as a kind of compulsory collective.
Gaining experience of best practices in other industries is one of the reasons why I took the CA-AM certificate with The Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals. I enjoy mastering complex topics quickly. My strong analytical ability allows me to pinpoint problem areas accurately. I deal with a wide variety of projects, from innovation to sustainability, European law, marketing, promotion and business organisation. This diversity of project topics and the relationships with innovative business people in particular are highly appealing to me.
